Hoewel bamboe een relatief nieuwe speler is op de markt voor stutwerk in vergelijking met de gevestigde opties van hout en kunststof, \u201cbewerkt bamboe\u201d (gelamineerd bamboehout)\u00a0<\/a> En bamboe met hoge dichtheid (vezelgeweven bamboehout)<\/a> hebben specifieke niches gecre\u00eberd waarin ze beter presteren dan beide.<\/p>\n

            Bij grootschalige betonstortingen moet de bekisting die het natte beton draagt (de steiger) stijf zijn.<\/p>\n

            • Vs. Plastic:<\/strong> Kunststof is over het algemeen te flexibel om als primaire draagbalk in een tijdelijke ondersteuningsconstructie te gebruiken; het is beter geschikt als blok dan als balk. Bamboe is daarentegen een uitstekend balkmateriaal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Voor bouwprojecten die streven naar duurzame bouwstandaarden.<\/p>\n

                • Waarom het wint:<\/strong> Bamboe is een snel hernieuwbare grondstof (oogstbaar in 3-5 jaar, tegenover 20-50 jaar voor hout).<\/li>\n
                • Vs. Plastic:<\/strong> Kunststof stutpalen worden gemaakt van aardolieproducten (zelfs als ze gerecycled zijn, is de oorsprong petrochemisch).<\/li>\n
                • Tegen hout:<\/strong> Het gebruik van bamboe voorkomt het kappen van oerbossen of bossen met een trage groei. Het gebruik van bamboe als steunconstructie draagt bij aan de duurzaamheidsscore van het project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  1. Omgevingen met een hoge luchtvochtigheid (maar niet onderdompeling)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    • Waarom het wint:<\/strong> Bewerkt bamboe bevat harslijm die het zeer bestand maakt tegen atmosferische vochtigheid en veranderingen in luchtvochtigheid.<\/li>\n
                    • Tegen hout:<\/strong> In zeer vochtige klimaten (zoals de tropen) kan standaard houten stutwerk veel sneller uitzetten, kromtrekken of bezwijken aan schimmelrot dan bamboe. Hoewel plastic ondoordringbaar is, biedt bamboe een tussenoplossing: je hebt de wrijving van hout nodig, maar een betere weerbestendigheid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      Samenvatting: De ideale plek voor bamboe<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      Bamboe is een uitstekende keuze wanneer je de mechanische eigenschappen van een zeer sterk hardhout nodig hebt (stijfheid, wrijving, balksterkte), maar tegelijkertijd duurzaamheid of een betere sterkte-gewichtsverhouding vereist.<\/p>\n

                      Het is NIET de beste keuze voor:<\/p>\n

                      • Gevaarlijke stoffen\/Redding:<\/strong> Plastic is beter omdat het geen bloed\/olie absorbeert.<\/li>\n
                      • Dynamische\/schokbelastingen:<\/strong> Hout heeft hier soms de voorkeur omdat het breken\/scheuren een beter visueel\/auditief waarschuwingssysteem biedt v\u00f3\u00f3r een totale instorting.
