Manufacturing Bamboo Panels

When we receive orders for table tops, we gather crucial information such as sizes, quantities, grain types, and colors. We then coordinate with our team to manufacture the bamboo panels based on these specifications. Before beginning production, we inspect bamboo strips in our warehouse, which may affect the timeline. Typically, this step takes about 15-20 days.

Cutting Into Shapes

Clients usually send us their drawings, which we confirm before inputting them into our CNC machines. The machines cut the bamboo panels according to the drawings, allowing us to create custom edge fillets, screw holes, grommet holes, and other details as required.

Inserting Screws

Based on client requirements, we pre-insert screws on the back of the bamboo table tops. This step makes it easier for their customers to install the table tops on desk frames.

Sanding Edges & Surfaces

To ensure smooth edges and surfaces, our workers sand each edge and surface to meet coating standards. This step is crucial for achieving a flawless finish.

Coating Finish

After sanding, the bamboo table tops are moved to the coating area. Our skilled lacquer painters apply a water-based edge coating first. Once the edge coating dries, we proceed with a UV lacquered coating on the surfaces. Typically, we apply six layers of UV coating to enhance both the hardness and aesthetics of the tabletops. Custom color options can be arranged through express delivery of color samples.

Quality Control

During the coating process, our Quality Control (QC) team inspects each tabletop for color consistency with the sample, uniform gloss, and any defects. After coating, we conduct individual inspections on each ergonomic tabletop to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Packing

While processing the table tops, we prepare the packaging materials. Each bamboo table top is wrapped individually in EPE and cardboard, meeting ISTA-3A standards.

Quality Tests

Our quality control team selects a percentage of table tops from each batch for testing. They inspect details like edge fillets, dimensions, gloss, moisture content, and weight, performing several tests to ensure the table tops remain secure in their transportation. We document the process with photos or videos for client reference before shipment.
